Virtual Reality Deck and Safety Familiarization and Assessment
One of the main concerns of crewing is the lack of onboard familiarization of the joining crew. Worse, some are lacking knowledge of important safety appliances.
In order to address such concern, Seaversity designed a simulation of an actual ship with a familiarization program. The Virtual Reality experience recreates the ship’s environment and thus, bringing the ship right to the user. After the familiarization of the program, an assessment is followed to check the knowledge and understanding of the crew. Before boarding the ship, the crewing would be more confident that the crew know the different types of safety appliances and their location.
